Helena Marple was born Helena Hope-Montagu into a wealthy family of property developers and award winning wine merchants.
Unlike her two older siblings, Helena showed no interest in joining the family business when she grew up. Blessed with a statuesque body and a striking face, Helena was talent scouted at a mall when she was 12, and within a year rose to become the most celebrated new face in the modelling world. 1 year into her lucrative contract, the worlds foremost teen model got herself into trouble, when she met a boy called Rick Marple who had escaped from a juvenile detention centre. Helena took a liking to the boy, and even hid him in her dressing room from the police. Soon after, Rick stole a car, and against all reason Helena left everything behind and went on the run with him. The two quickly fell in love, and started having sex. Meanwhile, the disappearance of Helena turned into a national scandal - with Helena's family and the police using all their resources to find her. When Helena re-emerged, she had eloped and become Helena Marple and was heavily pregnant. |
After the initial shock of the news, Helena's family were supportive of their daughter, and despite their animosity to Rick, they grew to love him when he dedicated himself to turning his life around, and being a great father to their first born Holly. The family pulled together to help raise Holly, while Helena's international modelling career resumed, and Rick joined the armed forces. 2 Years passed, then Helena and Rick became teen parents for the second time with the arrival of their son Nate, then another 2 years later their youngest daughter Grace.
The arrival of Grace prompted Helena to step away from the world of modelling and devote herself to being a mother, and with Rick returning from active duty they were a happy, close knit family unit.
Being a young mother, and something of a rebel herself, Helena was always more like the "cool friend mummy" than your typical strict parent - Holly and Grace in particular were always super proud to be seen out with her.
Helena, Rick and their 3 beautiful children were living the perfect life... until the tragic disappearance of their son Nate, which eventually tore their marriage apart, devastating Holly and Grace in the process. Now with her move to the charming Cheshire town of Silvermere, she shows no signs of slowing down. She's in talks with Emilia Abdenroth - a young fashion influencer from Germany - about a collaboration, and there's even talk of her returning to modelling. Due to the global recognition that comes with the name Helena Marple, she decided to keep using the name professionally - however Grace suspects that her mother having unresolved feelings for her father may have something to do with the decision.
